With combat making a sort of resurgence at the club & my pending move. I thought someone might be interested in my Battle Axe nitro combat plane. It has a Magnum .15BB engine that was purchased new and only just broken in, less than 15 4 oz. tanks I would guess. The plane needs the tail boom glued in, other than that throw radio in it and go. I did a few mods to this plane that added significantly to it's performance. First, I lightened it up quite a bit by removing sections of the foam wing sheeting. Then I added some substantial wing tips which reduced the wing loading and increased the aspect ratio. Next I added some length to the tail boom and a dorsal fin for more tail volume. This made for a fantastic combat platform! I can easily say that this plane was a cutting machine and out performed the rest by a wide margin!! Sorry I don't have pics right now but I can take some tonight. Hows $50?
