Title: Proctor Mini Antic-Electric conversion
Post by: hbgandy on June 17, 2015, 07:19:43 AM
I am brand new to the club, live in Healdsburg, have my Sport Cub trainer. While learning to fly RC, I also want to concurrently build a stick (NOT foam) model. After too many years away from the hobby, when I built stick u-control model kits, I am generally familiar with the process of stick kit building, but not RC. After extensive research I am focussing on the Proctor Mini Antic kit, which I will want to convert to electric. Has anyone in the club completed one of the same? If so I would very much appreciate seeing the model and ask some questions. Thanks. Bill Andersen

I know that the Ukiah Propbusters club pylon races some of those at their fun fly events. They are electric and look to fly well.

Thanks, but do you know of any Proctor Mini Antics in our club?

I don't know anybody in the wine country flyers that has built one. look at the Ukiah prop busters webpage and there might be a build thread there or you can get in touch with one of the guys that has one in that club. Hope that helps.?!? ???

Again, thanks very much. I've finally found what I needed and found a Proctor Micro Antic Electric build thread with lots of pictures on a 2009 build thread in rcgroups. I know it's not a Mini but I've decided to go small for starters so I phoned Joe at Proctor today and ordered a Micro kit.
