Jacob and myself are only going to be racing in the EF-1 class only, we have threee shoestrings ready. we have been test flying them and practicing around a two pylon coarse. They fly very steady and seem to be quick for ARF's but who really knows till the racing starts? Can't wait! Tony

Yeh finally EF1!!!!!! But it's my option that there is still going to be a gap that is to big between the T28/Corsair class and the Reno 450 class in order to promote growth in the intermediate area. The 450 class planes are twitchy and almost unrepairable to say the least! Even with attempts to slow the class down. In my mind it's like buying a Ferrari removing the engine and installing a lawn mover engine!? Not to mention the 450 class with the rules we had last year was the most popular and fun to watch! I've said enough come on let me have it what do you guys think? Let's have some new blood in this blog!!

Well I hope everyone would like to try the formula 1 class!? Jacob and myself are interested in traveling to other clubs and racing. It would be cool to take this part of our hobby to the next level. I purchased the Eflite shoestring from JPH. It looks racey.

The MX2's cool too! The latest plane I've been looking at is the P-38 from HobbyKing. It's has a wingspan of 55 inches, retracts. I would love to race something like this next year! What an exciting warbird pylon class we could have with all these new foamy's!!!

Has anybody checked out the new offerings from BananaHobbies and Nitroplanes? BananaHobbies has a larger Corsair with folding wings and all kinds of bells and whistles. Nitroplanes has a Corsair also, in two versions (blue and gray) and three mustangs. Pretty neat stuff and reasonable.

Jake has some very good points. I'm sure I'll be booted out of the T-28/Corsair class as a well, if not I'll remove myself and that's good I believe in order to promote growth and interest in that class. My interest in having a "bronze" warbird class is based on the sucess of our two current electric warbird classes. There's a strong interest for people to what to try thier hand at pylon racing the T-28 that they might already have in the hanger. My suggestion about having a parkzone "Spitfire" class is it seems like alot of people are buying these planes and they have that warbird interest. Whatever the membership decides to participate in I'm sure will be alot of fun reguardless.
