  Grin Hey Dave,
Sorry to say only Red can post his ideas back online. In the T-28 class the few things that can help you are 1. Make Sure your prop is balanced. 2. Running a higher C discharge rate will increase you speed. You should go with a 30c -35c rating, although by next year they will probably going to be higher.3. Practice. Running a tighter coarse will in turn produce faster lap times. Go to the field and set the poles up and practice.4. Practice your starts. a good start will put you in a great position to win. In t-28 it is a great advantage to be at the line at the start. You can see that all the planes are the same except batteries. I know spending money sucks Grin but to win. I finally broke down and got some 30c helped me go alot faster in warbird. The new plane helped a little also. LOL Cool. Get out there and Practice. Just look at Phil in 8th place. He stuck in there and showed up and raced getting better every race. So don't worry I'm sure by next season you will be ripping with the rest of us. Don't forget you missed a bunch of races and are still in 10th. Smiley

Until next time

I know Jon isn't the only one interested in doing a night Flight. Doug Boucher has an incredible Fourstar 120 That has a ton of light's on it. He can turn them on and of during flight. I know some of you are very handy so let see some posts on your Ideas. Wink I would also like to invite some of the other clubs around and see if we can get a few more body out there. I will try and post the date after tommorow's board meeting.

Until next time,

I say the more the merrier.  Smiley. I had the plane there. We only had three racers. Jeff was not really in the points race but Jon was. I could have let him collect no point's and passed him in points Grin. I would rather earn my points by racing with a full field.  Cool. I'm glad I could help out a fellow racer.

Hey Everyone,

Been kicking around the idea of having a night flying event some time in January. Shocked It would start at dusk and go until?Huh  Don't know about Nitro or gas yet but electric's are a sure thing. There are numerous lights out there now already made or you can scratch build some thing. You can always spot light the aircraft if you want.  I will let you know about the gas or nitro planes. We could even do prizes like Best night flight , best light's, and of course best crash. So to all of you brave flyers let me know what you think.

;DPatrick, it would be alot easier to buy a new one. There are kit motors out there that you can wind yourself but they are usually smaller indoor foamie motor without a lot of wires. To get the can off just remove the e clip and pull, it will pop right off. Guy was trying to say unless you get the exact wire eflite uses then you............ Wink

???Patrick, Believe me when I say I know what you're talking about. I've had 3 maiden's on Hellcat's that ended in demise  Cry, plus one on the third flight. Two were 60 size warbirds. What motor smoked? Maybe I have one I'll sell you cheap.  Grin.

Red, thanks for taking an interest in the forum and helping the other racers(and me) fly better. The forum really has not gone to well but this is just what we needed.  Grin. Since I have joined the club there have been a few different racing classes but these are by far the two funnest classes I think we've had. Shocked. I do have to say though, now that Red is racing in warbird it has gone to a whole new level Smiley !!!!
