Thank you everyone who came out to help. I have not seen that many people for a work party for awhile. With all your hard work I think the guests at Opening day will be impressed with our field. Thanks to Paul Eason for the staple gun that cut the time of covering the tables in half. Hope to see you all there next week and get your thumbs and trigger fingers ready to do some flying and shoot some planes down.

Just a reminder for all that the work party is this Saturday. On the agenda is recovering the tables that need it, Lowering the fence on the North end, Runway repairs, weeding and other general maintenance. Our Opening Day is the following weekend and we would like to have the field looking as nice as possible for all the visitors we should have, as well as the pride we have in having such a great place to fly. The more bodies we have the better, so if you can possibly make it please come with your work gloves, hammer and gas leaf blower if you have one. We will be starting at 9am and don't forget to bring something to fly after the work is done.

Thank You to everyone who came out early on race day to help maintain the field. You all know who you are. For those who couldnt make it. The final repairs were done to the runway after the twister damage this winter. Everyone pitched in to clean the weed out of the pits and picnic area. Steve and John Reade topped the trees at the north end, and Brian Young spent forever to clear the runway of rocks with a leaf blower. The place looks great! Thanks again to you all

This build was fun and the plane flies great. Just be sure to add inlet and outlet airscoops to cool the esc i've seen a few smokers (ask Merle). Also dont use a cheap servo for the elevator you cant get to it without alot of cutting believe me I learned the hard way.
