Long time WCF member Dick Maddock passed away on September 16 in
Healdsburg.  A memorial gathering will be held at Dick's home on Saturday,
Sept. 27 at 11:00 a.m. All are invited: 4970 W. Soda Rock Lane, Healdsburg.

As most of you know, the FAA may soon issue some new, very strict rules regarding
the model airplane hobby.  An AMA e-mail of 7/17 breaks the legislation down into
understandable terms, and urges us to voice our concerns. This one's important!
If you need a copy of the e-mail just let me know. The cut-off date for comments

to continue this thinking re China or foreign built electrics, take a look at Hobby King's
MX2 3D 1400mm EPO Extra 260(blue) RTF and scroll down to the video - looks like a pretty
nice deal at $150 for a good size electric(1400mm) with an EPO airframe. Pardon if this falls
a bit outside of the warbird discussion.
