I have all of my graphics made by Waldo at Epic Images.  www.epicvinyl.com His store is in downtown Santa Rosa. Bring down some photos and measurements, tell him Jon sent you, and he'll dial you in.

Cool! Just what I'm looking for. I have also found tons of canopies that can also be applied to racers as well, they're made of vacu formed plastic.

Not much room inside the cowl on the 1/12th scale. Yikes!

The TT Corsair has a ply bulkhead halfway between the wing and tail that the pushrod runs through, and seems to eliminate any flex. The TT Mustang has the same style pushrod set up minus the bulkhead, and elevator responsiveness seems good wide-o. Another test flight (at altitude! Tongue) will answer some questions. How did your tygon motor mount work out on the Hayate? Posting a pic or two might help some warbird racers solve the tricky motor mounting task on most of the kits used in the class. It would also come in handy dialing in thrust angles, which are usualy altered by ditching the stock motor mounts.

Still have "Big Hummer", she's up next on the racer (re)build list. I still don't know what went wrong, but I'm gonna give it another shot.  Undecided

:oAs far as I know, prop mods are not allowed in the T-28 Class. I do balance my prop, and also test it on the plane to make sure there are no vibrations. I have found that a perfectly balanced prop can still vibrate once mounted, and the cause is the prop adapter. Rotating the prop to different position on the prop adapter untill there are no vibrations at any throttle setting will solve that problem. As mentioned before here, I think the biggest keys to winning are being very comfortable with the airplane, using at least a 30c battery, having the control throws and exponential settings dialed in, and flying the course as tight as possible.
