Race 2 results have been posted. There are no throw-outs now because the series is only 4 races. Make em count!

The board voted to count all 4 races at the last meeting. I'm bummed too, sure could have used a throw out in Reno 450.

Well, I guess it is what it is ...  But looking back on it, I would have voted differently at the field meeting, knowing there would be no throw-outs ....  Kind of goes against the intentions of having two short seasons?  Plus, had I known the throw-out would be changed, I would have handled the first race of the season differently ....  But, that's the way the racing goes, there's a curve ball thrown in every now and then!

I don't know if I would call that a curve ball? I have a different name for that. I know things would have been approached differently if I would have know the rules are subject to change mid-season.

Fellow Racers,

You can't please everyone. We changed the racing to 2 short season's based on people's request. Some racers can't make it every time and did not want to fall to far behind. So we went with the 4 month season. We as a board decided to not have throw out's because of the short season. It now seems some of you are upset there will be no throw out's, Saying you would have done things differently. I think we should have put the throw out vote to the racers, not the board. Steve and I have been discussing what to do about it.
Personally I like the long season. Somewhere along the year people may miss a race or two but at the end of the year the points are still close.
I don't think our intention was to throw a curveball at you guy's, we just want to please everyone. I think we should have an eight race season with the endurance race in the middle of the year to mix things up. Just my 2 cents.
We will discuss this further and let u know. It will more than likely come down to a vote from the racers.
Thanks,
Adam

Any idea how Jake McDonald finished in Reno 450? He flew three races in May and another three races in June.
