This Saturday, July 14th, the Wine Country Flyers will honor late club member Larry Frank with a Scale Fly-In. Larry was a prolific scale builder and as Phil Leech wrote in our February Newsletter, Larry "wasn't a founder, but better than a founder because it was through his efforts that we all enjoy a dedicated flying field today".

The idea behind the event was to have a simple, fun scale contest that will involve static judging, but the main focus would be on scale flying. The rules are simple:

• Any scale airplane, ARFs are OK.
• Up to 3 aircraft entries per pilot
• Static score 20%
• Two Flights consisting of scale maneuvers 80% of score.
